Just DIY it! If you've snagged a Pitfall Seed before, you'll unlock the recipe to craft them yourself. All you need is 4 clumps of weeds and 6 tree branches. Environmentally friendly and gets the job done.

Getting a Pitfall Seed in Animal Crossing is kinda like a treasure hunt, but without the map. You can randomly dig them up while exploring your island – keep an eye out for those telltale star-shaped marks on the ground. Also, don't forget to shake those trees (carefully, though, don't want a wasp nest on your head), as Pitfall Seeds can also drop from them. Lastly, you can get them from your villagers; sometimes, they're just feeling generous and will gift you one!

Pitfall Seeds? Just buy 'em from Nook's Cranny if they pop up or get them from a friend's island. Much easier than hunting for them, if you ask me.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
