First, try restarting your PlayStation by selecting the 'Restart PS4' or 'Restart PS5' option in the Safe Mode menu. If that doesn't work, you might need to connect a USB drive with the latest system software update and select 'Update System Software' in the Safe Mode menu.

Hold the power button on your PlayStation for 7-10 seconds until the system beeps twice, then let go. This should fully power down your console. Wait a few moments, then turn it back on.

Honestly, just pulling the plug worked for me. Not the most recommended, but desperate times, right?

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
