Luck plays a big part, but your best bet is hunting for those artifact spots or popping open geodes. Monsters occasionally drop 'em too. Plus, once you donate one to the museum, you'll be all set with the planting kind and know how to make more from artifacts. Basically, keep exploring and breaking stuff open!

Just shake down monsters till they cough 'em up. Works every time. ?

To snag yourself some Ancient Seeds in Stardew Valley, you've got a few methods. Digging up Artifact Spots, especially in the Cindersap Forest, might get you an Ancient Seed artifact. Alternatively, fishing up treasure chests or breaking open geodes can also reward you with these elusive seeds. Don't forget, any monsters you defeat could drop them too. But if you're feeling lucky, donate an Ancient Seed artifact to the Museum, and you'll get a pack of plantable Ancient Seeds plus a recipe to convert any future artifacts into seeds!
