Getting Director Mode in GTA 5 is like unlocking the ultimate sandbox! Just boot up GTA 5, pause the game to bring up the main menu, navigate to the 'Rockstar Editor' and you'll see 'Director Mode.' Tap that, and boom, you're in! Make sure you're not in the middle of a mission, though, because you need to be free-roaming to access it.

Director Mode in GTA 5? Just pause and click a few times. If you've played for more than an hour, you'll find it. Not rocket science.
Had to share this - the first time I tried getting into Director Mode, I was in the middle of a shootout. Big mistake. Make sure the coast is clear in your game, or it won鈥檛 let you in! Once you're in, though, it's a blast. Totally changes the game!
