In Animal Crossing, getting over rivers is part of the fun and exploration! Early on, you won't have the ability to cross rivers right away. You gotta earn it! First, you'll need to get the Vaulting Pole. Blathers, the owl who runs the museum, gives you the recipe once he moves onto your island. Build it, and you'll be vaulting over rivers in no time! Later, you can build bridges, which require a bit of planning and some Bells (the game currency). Start saving!

Vaulting Pole, all day. It's like you're pole-vaulting in the Olympics, but cuter because it's Animal Crossing. Once you get it, you can cross rivers whenever you want. Bridges are cool too, but there's something satisfying about hopping over a river with a stick.

Just build a bridge, duh. It takes some Bells, but it's worth it for easy access across the river. Plus, it makes your island look nice.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
