Cooking? Easy peasy! Just wait for Franklin's Thanksgiving event, he'll hook you up with some starter recipes to get your culinary journey going. Also, keep an eye out for any cooking-related items and books that might pop up in the daily shop rotation.

To start cooking in Animal Crossing, you'll need to get a DIY recipe for a kitchen, where the magic happens. Once you've got that set up, you can start collecting recipes! They're usually found by talking to villagers, popping balloons, or in message bottles on the beach. The more you explore and interact, the more recipes you'll gather!

Honestly, just talk to your villagers and do the events. The game pretty much guides you into cooking without making it a chore. It's more fun discovering it as you play, IMO.

Cooking in AC? Overrated. Just enjoy the island life and eat fruit straight from the trees. Who needs a kitchen?

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
