Locking stuff in Fallout 76 isn't rocket science, but it sure keeps those pesky looters at bay. Basically, you gotta jump into build mode at your C.A.M.P. and hover over the item you wanna lock - could be a door, resource collector, or whatever. Then, just hit the prompt to lock it (should be an option that pops up) and choose the level of lock you wanna slap on there. Higher level locks need more skill in lockpicking to break into, so choose wisely based on how much you wanna protect your loot.

It's a game-changer when you realize you can lock your doors and resource collectors. Had a buddy who didn't know this and kept wondering why his stuff was always getting swiped. Once we locked his stuff up, it was like night and day. Thieves got nothing on a good lock.

Just lock it. Seriously, select the item and slap a lock on it. Don't overcomplicate it.
