Starting a new island in Animal Crossing? Easy peasy! Just launch the game and select the option to create a new save file right at the beginning. Remember, though, if you're aiming to restart your island from scratch, you'll need to delete your current save data from the Switch system settings first. Make sure to back up anything you can't bear to lose!

Honestly, starting over is overrated. You invest so much time in your island only to wipe it all away? Better to keep improving what you've already got than restart from zero. Just my two cents.

Just wipe your game data from the Switch settings and start the game anew. It's like giving your virtual life a clean slate, but remember, there's no undo button!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
