Simply go to 'Event Privacy' when creating your event and select 'Private'. Only your friends can see it!
Events? Just keep 'em private by setting the privacy to, you guessed it, private. Easy as pie!
I've hosted tons of private Facebook events. Just make sure to select 'Private' under privacy settings when creating the event.
