Making log stakes in Animal Crossing is super easy! All you gotta do is gather up 3 pieces of wood, and then head over to any DIY workbench. Once you're there, scroll through the DIY recipes until you find the log stakes one, and craft it. Wood can be collected by hitting trees with an axe. Just make sure not to chop them down!

Honestly, everyone's overcomplicating it. Just get wood and make 'em at a DIY bench. If you're out of recipes, keep talking to villagers or pop balloons. They drop recipes all the time.
