You need a Torx screwdriver. Remove the screws at the back and under the warranty sticker. Gently lift the cover.

If you're not comfortable with screwdrivers and delicate electronics, I'd recommend leaving it to the pros. Breaking it might void your warranty!

First, make sure to unplug your PS4. Then, carefully remove the hard drive cover by sliding it off. Use a T8 or T9 Torx screwdriver to remove screws from the back panel, and then gently lift the cover. Voil脿, you're in!

Unplug the PS4, slide off the hard drive bay cover, remove the screws with a Torx screwdriver, and lift the top cover. Easy peasy!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
