Pressing the 'X' button on PlayStation, 'A' on Xbox, or the 'Left Mouse Button' on PC after jumping out of an airplane or off a tall building is how you open your parachute in GTA 5. Make sure you've got one equipped first, though! Jumping without one is a one-way ticket to splat city.

Been there, done that! First time I tried opening my parachute in GTA 5, I totally forgot to check if my character actually had one. Spoiler: he didn't. Once you've got a parachute strapped on, though, you're golden. Jump from your desired height and smash that 'A' on Xbox or 'X' on PS to glide like a bird… or whatever it is that glides in Los Santos.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
