How do you parachute in GTA 5?
Diving into the sky in GTA 5? You'll need to know how to parachute then! First, make sure you've actually got a parachute (you can usually find one on your back if you've jumped from a high place or plane). Once you're in the air and falling, press the X button on PlayStation, A on Xbox, or the left mouse button on PC to deploy your parachute. So, funny story - first time I tried parachuting in GTA 5, I didn't know you had to open the parachute manually. Thought it was automatic like in some games. Long story short, I splatted onto the pavement. Morale of the story: press X (PS), A (Xbox), or left click (PC) AFTER you jump off. Don鈥檛 wait till the last second like I did!
Honestly, just hitting A or X at the right time is your recipe for success. And make sure you've actually got a parachute first! Can't tell you how many times I've seen folks jumping off buildings thinking they're going to magically grow wings.
