Pro tip: Keep an eye out for sticks after windy days or after you've shaken trees. More sticks = more crafting materials. Just stroll over and hit 'Y'. Your island cleanup will be a breeze!

Picking up sticks in Animal Crossing is super easy! Just walk up to a stick lying on the ground and press the 'Y' button. Your character will bend down and pick it up, adding it to your inventory. No tools required, you can start doing this from day one in the game!

Honestly, I didn't figure out how to pick up sticks until my second day of playing. Felt silly when I realized you just need to press 'Y'. Facesmack moment for sure.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
