Just hit the interact button (R1/RB) when you're next to an object you want to use. Easy peasy.
To pick up objects in Mortal Kombat X, simply stand near the interactable object and press the interact button, which is usually R1 on PlayStation or RB on Xbox.
Forget the fancy combos. Just get next to the object and press R1/RB. Done and done!
I've been playing MKX for years, and trust me, pressing R1 or RB next to objects is the way to go!
