To make your Facebook private, head to the settings, look for 'Privacy' and then adjust who can see your posts to 'Friends' or 'Only Me'. Easy peasy!
I turned my Facebook private by setting that 'Who can see your future posts?' option to friends only. It's worked like a charm for me!
