Winning games helps, of course, but don't forget to focus on eliminations too. Each elimination gives XP.
Complete daily and weekly challenges! They're an easy way to rake in XP and rank up fast.
Team Rumble is your friend. It's an easy way to get high eliminations and complete challenges for a bunch of XP.
I found completing missions in Save the World mode gives good XP and V-Bucks, which can help in the Battle Royale.
