Restarting Animal Crossing on the Switch is pretty easy! Just launch the game and while on the title screen, press and hold the 'A', 'B', 'X', and 'Y' buttons together. A prompt will ask if you want to delete your save data. Confirm, and voilà, you're starting anew. Remember, this wipes everything, so make sure you really want a fresh start!

Just press A, B, X, Y at the title screen and say bye-bye to your island. RIP all those bells.

Nah, why restart? Part of the beauty of Animal Crossing is living with your decisions. Plus, think of all the events and friends you'll miss!

I restarted mine last month and it's like a whole new game! Sure, you lose your progress, but changing things up made me love the game even more. Just press those buttons at the start screen and follow the steps. Easy peasy!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
