Scanning a Pokemon card isn't rocket science, but it does need a bit of care. First, if you're aiming to digitize your collection or just share it with pals, use a flatbed scanner or a good quality phone camera in a well-lit area. Make sure the card is flat and there are no shadows or glares covering it. For the tech-savvy, specialized apps like the Pokemon TCG Live app allow you to scan and keep track of your collection digitally. Just follow the app's instructions for the best results!

Just snap a pic with your smartphone. Good light, no glare, and you're golden. Most phones these days have cameras that are more than good enough for this.

Honestly, why bother scanning them? The whole point is the physical collection, right? Enjoy them IRL!

I've scanned hundreds for my online collection. Best tip: Use a scanning app designed for documents. These apps auto-correct the perspective and crop the image perfectly. Makes your cards look ? online.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
