Starting Pokemon TCG is super easy and fun! First, grab a Starter Deck, which comes with everything you need to play: a ready-to-use deck, a coin, damage counters, and a playmat with rules on it. I'd also recommend watching some tutorial videos online; many YouTubers break down the basics in a really digestible way. Lastly, find someone to play with - friends, family, or check out local game shops where Pokemon TCG events happen. Many shops host beginner nights, so you're sure to find other new players!

As someone who's been playing for years, start with a theme deck that catches your eye! The real fun begins when you start mixing cards to build your own unique deck. Don't rush it; enjoy learning the game step by step.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
