To summon the Empress of Light in Terraria, you gotta take down a Prismatic Lacewing. These fancy bugs only show up in the Hallow biome at night from 7:30 PM to Midnight in-game time. Make sure to catch them during the hardmode, and as soon as you smack one, BAM! Empress of Light time. Just a heads up, she's tough, so gear up!

Just find and squash a Prismatic Lacewing in the Hallow at night. Hardmode only.

Pro tip from someone who's been there: The Prismatic Lacewing is super skittish, so approach with care or it'll vanish before you even get a swing at it. Catch it during its active hours in the Hallow, and you're golden. Took me a couple tries but totally worth it for the epic battle with the Empress of Light!
