I took my PS3 apart using a Torx screwdriver and a lot of YouTube tutorials. Just be careful with the delicate parts and remember where each screw goes.

First, unplug everything and remove the hard drive cover and screws. Then, pop off the top cover, remove the Blu-ray drive, and unscrew the motherboard chassis. It's a bit tricky, so proceed with caution and maybe look for a detailed guide or video online!

It's easy! Just unscrew it, lift the top cover, and get to work. But make sure you know what you're doing or you might break something.

Grab a small screwdriver set, an old towel for screws, and a lot of patience. Unplug and disassemble the casing, then remove components like the Blu-ray drive and motherboard. Look up a YouTube video for a detailed step-by-step!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
