Step by step: unscrew the four screws on the back, gently pry open the casing with a plastic tool, and disconnect the internal cables. Try not to force anything!

With a precision screwdriver and plastic spudger, unscrew and pry open the DualSense controller. Gentle is key to not breaking any plastic clips.

First, remove the screws from the back of the controller using a small Phillips screwdriver. Carefully pry apart the seams with a plastic spudger tool to avoid damage. Remember to disconnect any ribbon cables before fully separating the two halves!

Honestly, I'd just avoid taking it apart unless you absolutely have to. It's tricky and you might end up with a broken controller!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
