First, grab a Torx screwdriver set since Microsoft loves their Torx screws! Then, remove the screws from the back and sides, gently pry the casing apart (a plastic spudger helps here), and carefully unplug any cables. Voila, you're inside!

Start by removing the screws in the rear and bottom, then use a prying tool to gently open the case. After that, you'll need to disassemble components such as the hard drive and DVD drive.

I once took apart my Xbox 360 to fix it. Make sure you have a Torx screwdriver. Unscrew everything, open it up carefully, and don't forget to unplug the cables inside. Easy peasy.

Not worth it. Just take it to a professional if you really need it opened.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
