Just get into the settings menu and uncheck 'Auto-Aim' under the controls section. Piece of cake.

Hey fellow tanker! To turn off auto lock in War Thunder, go to the game settings, navigate to the 'Common' or 'Ground Vehicle' tab, and uncheck the 'Auto-Aim' box. Boom, no more auto lock!

Auto lock can be really annoying! Go to settings, find 'Ground Vehicle' options, and disable 'Auto-Aim'. Problem solved!
