How Do You Unlock Luigi in Super Mario Galaxy 2?
To unlock Luigi in Super Mario Galaxy 2, just beat the first Bowser level in World 2! He'll start appearing in stages, and you can switch to him when you see his icon.

After you beat Bowser's first galaxy in World 2, Luigi will show up in some stages. Look for his green icon on the map. Easy peasy!
Beat Bowser in World 2. Luigi pops up. Play as him. Simple.
Once you finish that Bowser fight in World 2, Luigi will start to appear in certain galaxies. Switch to him by selecting his icon. I played the entire game again just to unlock him, it's worth it!
