Pro tip: You can also prioritize which games update first by managing the queue in 'Downloads' under Steam’s 'Settings'. Handy when your internet is not the fastest.

Honestly, just set your games to auto-update and forget about it. Steam handles the rest while you sleep.

I had a game that wouldn't update once. Turned out my Steam client needed an update itself. Always make sure your Steam is up to date too!

Updating a game on Steam is super easy! Just open up Steam and if there's an update available for a game you own, it often starts automatically. If not, just navigate to your Library, right-click the game, and select 'Properties' > 'Updates' and you can check for updates there. Steam's pretty good at keeping things simple.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
