You can also update using a USB flash drive. Download the update file from the Xbox website, transfer it to a USB, plug it into your Xbox 360, and follow the instructions. Works like a charm!

If your Xbox 360 is connected to Xbox Live, it'll automatically prompt you to update when you sign in. Just follow the on-screen instructions. Easy peasy!

Simple way? Just connect your Xbox 360 to the internet, go to Settings > System > Console Settings > System Update, and follow the prompts. Bam, you're updated!

Honestly, the fastest way is to connect to the internet. Everything else feels like a hassle.

I updated mine via CD! Download the update to your computer, burn it to a CD/DVD, then pop it in your Xbox 360. It will update automatically. Old school, but effective!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
