Just go to the pause menu, find the amiibo section, and tap that little Mario figurine on your right Joy-Con – boom, magic happens!

Using amiibo in Super Mario Odyssey is super easy! Just press the right button on the D-pad to bring up the amiibo screen, then tap your amiibo on the right Joy-Con's NFC reader. Each amiibo will give you different costumes or helpful items!

Honestly, I rarely use amiibo in Odyssey. It’s kinda fun but not essential. Just tap it on the Joy-Con if you wanna try.

I love using amiibo in Super Mario Odyssey! Head to Uncle amiibo in any kingdom, tap your amiibo, and enjoy the rewards. It's a blast discovering what each one gives you!

You can also scan amiibo at a checkpoint flag for instant power-ups. It's a neat trick to get a power-up boost right when you need it!
