Personal experience here: Hold LT to aim and use the d-pad to adjust zoom. Works like a charm for sniping!

Just use LT to aim, and you can change zoom levels with the d-pad. Easy peasy.

To zoom in PUBG on Xbox, simply press and hold the left trigger (LT) to aim down sights (ADS). If you want to toggle the zoom level, use the d-pad up or down when aiming.
