In Apex Legends, teammates are chosen by a matchmaking system that tries to pair you with players of similar skill level. The game looks at your performance and tries to match it with others in the same boat. So, if you're a newbie, you'll likely team up with other new players, and if you're a skilled veteran, you'll find yourself with folks who know their way around a battle royale.

It's basically random, with a hint of skill-based magic to not throw you in the deep end with pros when you're just starting. So, it's like rolling dice but the game tries to make sure the dice are somewhat in your favor.

From personal experience, feels like it's random. Sometimes you get teamed with legends, other times with folks who seem to have just started. But that's part of the fun, right?

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
