Apex Legends uses a matchmaking system that considers your skill level, so you end up with players of similar abilities. It looks at your performance in previous matches, like how many kills you got and how long you survived. The better you play, the tougher the competition in your lobby!

I've noticed it tries to balance the teams by skill, but sometimes it feels like it just flips a coin. Been in matches where I felt way out of my league, and other times it鈥檚 like shooting fish in a barrel.

From what I've seen, Apex Legends does a decent job at skill-based matchmaking, ensuring players at similar levels end up in the same lobby. However, peak hours might mix things up a bit to fill lobbies faster. So, sometimes it's the luck of the draw.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
