Just think of it as halftime in football. You play the first half on one map, then switch to a different map for the second half. Keeps the game spicy!

Not a fan of ranked splits. Just when I get used to a map, they switch it. Makes climbing ranks harder than it should be.

In Apex Legends, the ranked split basically divides the ranked season into two parts. Each split lasts about half the season, and the map changes for each split. You play, grind your rank up, and then halfway through, things shake up with a new map to keep the game fresh. If you reach a high rank in both splits, you can earn exclusive rewards. Plus, your rank slightly resets between splits, so you get the chance to climb the ladder again!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
