It's basically area control. Caustic's gas blocks vision, damages enemies, and the poor souls stuck in it move slower. Just don't be that player who traps your own team in a room with it. Not cool, and definitely not effective.

Caustic's poison in Apex Legends is all about area denial. When Caustic throws his Nox Gas Traps or launches his Nox Gas Grenade (his ultimate), the traps/grenade release a toxic gas that damages and slows enemies caught inside. The gas doesn't affect Caustic because he's immune. Also, he gains visibility on anyone in the gas, making it a perfect setup for ambushes. Remember, the gas can hurt teammates too, so placement is key!
