Dragon Ball GT is considered non-canon by many fans and doesn't fit into the official timeline of Dragon Ball Super. Think of it as an alternate universe or a really epic 'what if' story!

Hot take: GT should be watched purely for the Super Saiyan 4 transformations. The rest? Eh, non-canon.

I've watched both, and Super is what follows after Dragon Ball Z, ignoring GT entirely. GT was made before Super and doesn't align with its story. Just enjoy it as a separate saga!

GT and Super are like those cousins who never attended the same family reunions鈥攖hey exist but in different timelines. Super follows the manga's continuity, while GT was created as a sequel to Dragon Ball Z before Super was a thing.
