The anime doesn't really have a definite 'end' since it's based on a light novel series that's ongoing! Season 1 wraps up with Goblin Slayer and his allies defeating a goblin horde threatening a farming village. It's a pretty epic battle, and Goblin Slayer finally takes off his helmet in the end! But the adventure continues in the manga and novels.
