How does Pokemon card grading work?
AffordingAggie路7 months agoPokemon card grading is pretty much like getting a report card for your card! A professional company examines the card for its physical condition - we're talking corners, edges, surface, and centering. They look for any signs of wear, tear, or damage. Then, they give it a grade on a scale, usually 1 to 10, with 10 being essentially perfect. This grade helps determine the card's value, especially for collectors. Higher grades mean rarer, more valuable cards. It's a way to certify your card's authenticity and condition!

It's all about condition. Grading companies give it a score from 1 to 10. Higher score = more $$$. Simple as that.
Honestly, it's a bit overrated. Just enjoy your cards, no need to get them graded unless you're really into collecting.
