In Team Battle mode, you choose a team color at the beginning. Then you battle it out to eliminate other teams and protect your own members. The last team left wins the game.

I've played a ton of Tetris 99 Team Battle. You choose one of four teams, then it's a chaotic scramble to survive and KO other teams while helping yours stay in the game. Last team standing takes the victory!
