In Honkai Star Rail, the pity system is a safety net that ensures players get a high-tier character after a certain number of unsuccessful attempts. For character banners, you typically hit pity and are guaranteed a 5-star character after 80 pulls if you haven't gotten one by chance before that. It's a way to make sure everyone eventually gets a bit of the gacha luck, even if it feels like the universe is conspiring against them sometimes!

It's pretty simple: keep pulling, and if you're super unlucky and don't get a 5-star in 80 tries, the game throws you a bone and guarantees one on your next pull. Painful but fair.

Honestly, the pity system feels like it's just there to taunt you. You'll hit the pity counter before you know it, and then BAM, there's your 5-star. But hey, at least it's something, right?

If you're a Honkai Star Rail player looking for extra shards or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Honkai Star Rail essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
