How does weakness work in Pokemon TCG?
DislikingTramp路7 months agoIn Pokemon TCG, when your Pokemon is up against a Pokemon it's weak to, the damage it receives is doubled. For example, if your Fire-type Pokemon is battling a Water-type, and the Water-type attacks with a move that normally does 20 damage, your Fire-type would take 40 damage instead because of weakness. Always check the bottom of your Pokemon cards to see what type they're weak against!

Weakness in Pokemon TCG means game over faster if you're not careful. It's like rock-paper-scissors but with more steps. If your opponent plays a type your Pokemon is weak against, you're gonna feel it double. So yeah, pay attention to those weakness symbols on your cards.
Just double the damage and cry a little if it's your favorite Pokemon getting hit. Weakness is brutal in the TCG.
