How does Word of Command work in MTG?
CoilingShip路7 months agoHonestly, it's just a fancy way to play your opponent's cards against them. Gotta have mana and timing right, though. Old school, but cool.

Word of Command is a pretty old and quirky card from Magic The Gathering. Here's the scoop: when you play Word of Command, you basically get to look at an opponent's hand, then choose a nonland card from it. The fun part? You get to make all decisions for that card as if you were the one who played it. It's like temporarily mind controlling your opponent to play a card for you, but remember, you need to follow the normal timing rules for casting it, and you have to have enough mana to pay for its costs.
Word of Command is more trouble than it's worth. Too many hoops to jump through for a spell that might not even turn the game in your favor.
