Honestly, Echo can be more hassle than it's worth. Sure, you get a creature on the board fast, but having to pay twice? There are more mana-efficient ways to play without putting yourself back. It's a flashy mechanic that's not always the best strategy unless you're really working with a deck built to capitalize on it.

Echo in MTG is pretty straightforward but cool. It's an ability that requires you to pay the creature's mana cost again during your next upkeep after it comes into play. If you don't, you have to sacrifice it. It's like renting a creature for a turn with the option to buy. Great for temporary blockers or a quick aggressive strategy!

Echo? Just think of it as a 'rent-to-own' creature program in Magic The Gathering. You play it, and if you like it enough to pay its cost again on your next turn, you keep it. If not, bye-bye creature!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
