How good is Kadena Commander in MTG?
Kadena is pretty awesome in the right setup. Kadena's just okay, IMO. Sure, the whole 'first face-down creature spell costs {0}' each turn is cool, but if your group plays lots of board wipes or control, it can be tough to get the engine running smoothly. Plus, you really need to lean into that morph strategy to make her shine, which kinda limits your deck building.
I've been running Kadena for months, and let me tell you, it's a blast. Every game feels like a puzzle, deciding when to play creatures face-down or saving them for the perfect moment.
