Overrated. Too reliant on having multiple creatures on the board. One board wipe and you're out.

Battalion is pretty solid in the right deck, especially if you're into aggressive strategies. It basically rewards you for doing what you want to be doing anyway - attacking with a bunch of creatures. The mechanic triggers when you attack with three or more creatures, unlocking various effects that can really swing the game in your favor. It's all about turning up the heat on your opponent and keeping the pressure on.

It depends. If you're playing in a super competitive setting, battalion might not be top-tier because it requires you to commit to the board, making you vulnerable to sweepers. However, in more casual or mid-level play, it can be a powerhouse. There's nothing quite like the feeling of turning a tight game around with a well-timed battalion trigger.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
