Future Sight was ahead of its time, honestly. The set introduced a bunch of mechanics that were experimental at best, but it really showcased Wizards of the Coast's willingness to innovate. The card designs, foreshadowing future mechanics and themes, were something we hadn't really seen to that extent. Definitely a hit for the more enfranchised players who could appreciate the depth.

Oh, Future Sight was a trip! It was like they threw all the conventions out the window and decided to see how far they could push the envelope. The set had some wild mechanics and really unique cards that we hadn't seen before (or since, in some cases). It was divisive for sure - you either loved the innovation or found it a bit too out there. But for collectors and players looking for something different, it was a goldmine.

Meh, too weird for my taste. Some of the cards were cool, but a lot of it felt like it was weird for the sake of being weird.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
