The gameplay complexity has definitely increased. Once it was just 'stab Ganon,' now you need a degree in puzzle-solving to get through some dungeons!

The Legend of Zelda has evolved from 8-bit pixel graphics on the NES to breathtaking 3D worlds on the Switch. It's basically like watching Link go through puberty!

Hot take: Zelda hasn't changed at all. It's still the same core gameplay of exploring, solving puzzles, and saving the princess, just with shinier graphics.

The series now includes open-world mechanics, with Breath of the Wild allowing players to tackle challenges in any order. You're no longer a slave to linear progression!

I've been playing since the original, and it's amazing to see how the storytelling and character development have deepened over time. Breath of the Wild felt like a true epic.
