How is Damage Calculated in Apex Legends?

Damage in Apex Legends is pretty straightforward but can get complex with all the variables. Each weapon has its own damage rating, basically how much hurt it can dish out per shot. Then you've got to factor in where you hit your opponent - headshots do more damage than body shots. But wait, there's more! Legends can wear armor that absorbs some of the damage. So the real damage your enemies feel depends on your aim, the armor they're wearing, and of course, the weapon you're using.

Honestly, just find a gun that feels good and stick with it. You'll learn the damage stuff as you go.

Actually, understanding damage in Apex can really up your game. Pay attention to ammo types and weapon classes - snipers and shotguns feel different for a reason. Also, different legends have abilities that can influence damage, like Gibraltar's Gun Shield or Caustic's Gas. And don't forget about attachments! A barrel stabilizer or extended mag can be a game-changer. It's all about the right gear and the right aim.
