In Apex Legends, the Jumpmaster is usually selected automatically among the three squad members. It's determined by the game and often goes to the third person who picks their Legend. However, if you don't want to be Jumpmaster, you can pass the role to another squad member by pressing the relevant button during the Legend selection or during the pre-jump phase. It's like hot potato but with parachutes!

The game picks the Jumpmaster randomly, but if you're feeling shy or just wanna chill and follow, you can easily relinquish the role and let someone else make the decisions. Just remember, with great power comes great responsibility... to not drop your squad in the middle of five other teams.

Basically, it's random. Don't overthink it.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
