Mortal Kombat 11 gets the 'woke' label mainly because it features a diverse cast of characters and more modest female costumes compared to previous games. It tries to be more inclusive and respectful, but opinions are divided on whether that's a good or bad thing.

The game has received some criticism for dialing back the hyper-sexualized costumes for female characters and including more diverse characters. Some folks see this as a positive step, while others think it panders too much.

As someone who's played MK11 since launch, I can say it's not really 'woke.' It just has a more modern approach to character design and representation.

People say it's woke 'cause the female characters have more realistic designs now. Some like it, some don't. Simple as that.

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
