Think of photosynthesis as the chef cooking up food (glucose) and cellular respiration as our way of burning that food for energy. They complete each other!

They're related in the sense that photosynthesis makes the stuff that cellular respiration breaks down. It's a never-ending cycle!

Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are like the yin and yang of the biological world. Photosynthesis converts carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen using sunlight, while cellular respiration takes that glucose and oxygen to produce carbon dioxide, water, and energy. They are basically the reverse of each other!

Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are two sides of the same energy-coin. One stores energy and the other releases it!
